The Opossum, pursues a gang of thugs and brings them to justice. Key elements are established for The Opossum's universe, as his base of operations in Brownsville, Texas and his nemesis Zoot's first appearance. Also in this issue hints to The Opossum's past are alluded to. The Opossum is a story about one man recovering from a great love lost. The main character goes about finding himself and his place in the world; becoming The Opossum in order to find some order and justice to his world. The story unfolds as we are taken along this characters journey as he strives to find a semblance of peace within himself.
