Jangleclang, finds Angst and Zegg speeding for Galaxy Central. A Gord distress signal leads them to an asteroid, where they find Captain Niebelung, who escaped her ship when the Wranglefang began to wreak havoc. The Radar Ranger ship, Athwart, begins to display odd behavior, and digs up a piece of space junk, which they take with them as they all, once again, head for Galaxy Central. Upon reaching the center of the galaxy, they find the Wranglefang has already consumed all available parse-nips, leaving the place virtually deserted. The beast does agree, however, to spare our heroes if they will find him more parse-nips.

The Parsnip Saga is a four-issue epic following the exploits of Radar Rangers Angst and Zegg, in the year 2212 G.R., as they endeavor to save Galaxy Central from the strange creature that may or may not be known as the Wranglefang.
