Shannon and the super-powered quintet must deal with the revelation of an outsider (Shannon) knowing their secret. Meanwhile, the newly-formed extra-terrestrial task force Operative Fifty-One has now bolstered both their members and their weapons, as they look to have a ten-on-five advantage over the so-called “alien threat.”

Five Strangers lose two years of their lives because of one event: A mysterious light display during a meteor shower seemingly erases them from existence, only for the fivesome to resurface having each gained strange abilities, but also having been declared dead due to their extended absence, and being separated from their families. If that isn’t stressful enough, a rogue group of government officials are out to eliminate them permanently, mistaking the quintet for invading aliens.
